Sadik Hadzovic’s health concern forced him to drop out

The Mr. Olympia competitions will take place from 15 to 18 December 2022. Sadik decided to drop the bad news just a few days before the competitions will start. However, he didn’t do it out of any bad faith or any nonchalant reason. Apparently, Sadik had genuine concerns about his health and speculated about it long and hard enough before taking the tough call.

He said, “I know many of you were excited to see me back at this year’s Olympia. Unfortunately, I will not be competing”. He didn’t specify the reasons at the time, which left his fans puzzled and searching for reasons.

Sadik shared a series of stories on his Instagram, each revealing a facet of what his present condition is like. He decided to share the reason and discuss an important detail via his Instagram page in order to set the record straight and give his fans some perspective. He states, “A lot of speculation as to why I pulled out of this year’s Olympia”, which is followed by a series of updates on his health.

Sadik isn’t the first person to drop out of Mr. Olympia this year. Daniel Ammons is an IFBB Pro Men’s Physique athlete, who took the same path of skipping the competition for health reasons. Health scares are a big concern for bodybuilders, as well as other sports persons.

Along with physical health, mental health concerns are also on the rise, and sportsmen and women around the globe are paying the appropriate amount of attention to it. Ben Stokes, an English cricketer, took time off from playing cricket for his country during last year’s summer to work on his mental health.
