“Made Me Wanna Deadlift”: 21-Year-Old’s 926 Lbs Deadlift Leaves Strongest Powerlifter Amazed

Inspiration can find its path in different ways. Similarly, the strongest powerlifter, Larry Wheels, recently found his inspiration from a 21-year-old, Hussain Ali. Wheels revealed it with an Instagram video and gave Ali the credit. However, Wheels has been an inspiration himself to thousands of people since he became the strongest powerlifter after coming back clean of alcohol addiction in his teens.

21-year-old surprised Larry Wheels

Larry Wheels is familiar with the heaviest lifts and has done it himself for many years now. However, the powerlifting icon got astonished when he watched a 21-year-old deadlift 420 kg (926lbs).

He uploaded the video of the deadlift and wrote in awe, “420kg deadlift at 21 years old! 😮”.

Moreover, he didn’t stop praising him there. Furthermore, Wheels commented, “The celebration made me wanna deadlift!” Safe to say, Wheels appreciates the solid work athletes put in and is always up for a challenge which he feels could be a tough ask.

The fans and followers didn’t agree with Wheels

As much as people appreciated the deadlift by Hussain Ali, GCC Strongest Man 21, they criticized his age and commented on the same. One person commented, “This how Netflix imagines a typical 21 year old.” 

On the other hand, one of the followers assumed that Wheels must have mistyped. He commented, “I think he meant 31.” Whereas one of the followers tried to get a different meaning of what Wheels wrote and commented, “21 years on powerlifting”. Moreover, some blamed the steroids for his older looks. He commented, “Daym he is strong thats a fact but 21 years old thats what steroids do they age your face.” Some other comments included, “If he’s 21, then Liver King is natural”. “21 years old is his first son”. “Bro is not 21, bro is actually 12”.
