“Just Have Family Obligations”: Chris Pratt’s Ex-Wife Talks About Her Relationship With Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Daughter Katherine

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the bodybuilder turned actor and politician, and his ex-wife Maria Shriver share four children. To Arnold’s pleasant surprise, Katherine Schwarzenegger, their first child, found her true love in Chris Pratt, the Jurassic World star, a fellow member of his profession. Pratt was married to actress Anna Faris for nine years before separating in 2018.

Pratt and his ex-wife are parents to a 10-year-old child, Jack. Since their divorce, they have maintained an amicable relationship co-parenting the child. Notably, the Pratt-Schwarzenegger couple and ‘The Estate’ star Anna Faris get along well. Recently, she got candid about not meeting for Thanksgiving and her relationship with Pratt’s family and also shared her appreciation for Katherine.

Anna Faris expressed happiness over the connection she has with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter Katherine and Chris Pratt. “We’re all getting much closer, and I so appreciate that,” said Faris. She continued, “They’re very protective of me, and I want to be very protective of them,” and appreciated their support. 

Faris, who looks up at Katherine with high regard, describes her as “awesome.” Furthermore, she says, “She’s just on top of it. I love how she is with Jack.”Speaking about Thanksgiving, she stated, “We won’t have this Thanksgiving together.”

However, she hinted at spending holidays together. Explaining further, she said, “But right now, we just have family obligations that take us elsewhere.” Regarding how their bonding has evolved, she shared that with time, the “internal churning of unpleasantness” has settled and feels much easier.  

 Arnold Schwarzenegger is a proud father 

Katherine has authored three self-help books on self-image, forgiveness, and finding direction. Moreover, she has written a book for children about adopting her dog. In a 2019 interview, Arnold expressed his admiration stating, “Between succeeding with your books, your marriage, and your animals, I don’t know where you find the time, but you are a champion!” 

Katherine and Pratt married in 2019. Katherine is a proud mom of two little girls, Eloise and Lyla. She takes inspiration from her parents in parenting her daughters. She is very protective of her children and ensures nobody encroaches on their privacy.
