With Mr. Olympia fast approaching in December 2022, there is a lot of prize money at stake. The huge amount of prize money received by Elssbiay in 2021 has amped up the excitement for this year’s competition. Mamdouh Elssbiay’s large cash prize makes Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Olympia winnings look like a pittance. However, Elssbiay and Schwarzenegger don’t have the most Mr. Olympia earnings. Phil Heath was the bodybuilder with the greatest Mr. Olympia earnings in bodybuilding history. Winning the Mr. Olympia title in 2011, Heath successfully defended his title until 2017. But what were his actual earnings in comparison with bodybuilders in bodybuilding history? Let’s find out.

The staggering difference in money won by Phil Heath and other bodybuilding legends

Phil Heath got $400,000 for each Mr. Olympia competition he won in 2015, 2016, and 2017. The bodybuilding legend gained $275,000 for winning the 2014 Mr. Olympia competition.
