Being a bodybuilder can be amazing and frustrating at the same time. Bodybuilding needs constant focus, and a strict lifestyle in order to result in success. 4-times Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler shared his disciplinary routine on a recent YouTube video where he talked about his initial days, food intake, and preparation for the Olympia stage.

Jay Cutler’s lifestyle as a lead bodybuilder

Jason Isaac Cutler held the title of Mr. Olympia for four years in a row. He gave his full time and attention to the sport to be able to hold those titles. Recalling his time in the sport, Cutler admitted that he was not particularly happy with the routine. However, his passion for bodybuilding surpassed his need for personal gratification. But the energy and focus required made the whole ordeal tiring. While he’d thought he would retire by the age of 30, Cutler’s love for the sport made him work for 10 years more.
