Fitness enthusiast and powerlifter Jacob Moll is now a social media star with his gripping tale of body transformation. Shredding off 67 pounds by making crucial dietary changes, the young father revealed how he took matters into his own hands. Redefining the set norms of bodybuilding back in 2021, Moll shared how he cut down his macros to improve his body aesthetics.

Spilling the beans, Moll sat down with the Men’s Health Magazine team to discuss the secrets of getting his ripped body at age 35.

Jacob Moll’s tale of losing the extra pounds

Throughout his life, Moll has had a keen interest in athletics. However, it was not until his thirties that he realized that there was something more to get a fit body. As he continued to put on weight despite living an active lifestyle, he realizedtrue gains are made in the kitchen.”  Even though he was regular at the gym, he gained weight fairly quickly. Much to his dismay, at age 32, he weighed 255 pounds.

As Covid swooped in and his powerlifting events got canceled, he became more reckless with his diet and workout. It was then that he saw his picture and realized how he was letting himself loose trying to chase a “dumb little local dream.” That being said, he soon took matters into his own hands and focused on his diet. Even though he had already tried “multiple fad diets, “ nothing stuck.

Thus this time, he started with his research. Learning how professional athletes and bodybuilders approached their diets, he soon began to focus on his meal prep and timing. Getting more conscious of his food intake, Moll started to count his macros. Though, as he reflects, the results were not immediate, with time, he saw the visible results.

How diet helped Jacob Moll to get back into shape?

As Moll saw the results of his diet change, he realized he could taper a little more. Jacob reflected, “changing my diet was about slimming down to reveal the musculature I already had.” Starting everything afresh, he soon switched from powerlifting to a PPL routine. He soon developed his new routine and adopted a committed powerlifting regimen.

As Moll showed perseverance and dedication, he went from 255 pounds to 188 pounds in a little less than two years and even won his first bodybuilding show. Moll drew inspiration from bodybuilder Seth Feroce and YouTube fitness influencer Ryan Humiston during his journey. Having made a positive difference in his life, Moll now dedicates himself to inspiring others. He keeps posting his workout videos and pictures and shares some pro-bodybuilding tips.
