Shaun Clarida, who stands 5’2”, is nicknamed “The Giant Killer” due to his massive physique and impeccable determination. Clarida made himself a dominant figure in bodybuilding by showing his talent in the industry for more than 15 years.

In 2020, Shaun Clarida won the 212 Olympia title and qualified for the 2022 Mr. Olympia contest. Clarida recently posted a video on social media announcing his intent to claim the title.

Shaun Clarida declared his intentions

In an Instagram video, Clarida announced that he was ready to claim his next title. He wrote, “READY TO RECLAIM! As much as I would have loved to battle it out with the big boys in the open, that’s going to have to wait for now. I’ve got unfinished business in the 212! I’M COMING BACK FOR MY TITLE!

Shaun revealed that he is not just concerned about winning the title or creating his legacy. Clarida is more inclined towards making a comeback as a bigger, better, and more determined bodybuilder.

Winning the Mr. Olympic title is very important to him. And the event is close to his heart. The 40-year-old bodybuilder claimed that he has a clear vision for his goal. Clarida said he was ready to fight everyone in the competition. 

Clarida was at crossroads

Shaun Clarida claimed the third position in the 2019 212 Olympia division and was placed after Kamal El-Gargni and Derek Lunsford. In 2020, he left the two behind in the same event and brought home the trophy. Clarida said that winning the 2020 event held a special place in his heart because it was the 50th bodybuilding contest he had participated in. 

 

In 2021, Shaun Clarida won the Legion Sports Fest and qualified for the 2022 Mr. Olympia contest. Shaun Clarida now stood a chance to participate in the 212 Olympia or Mr. Olympia contest 2022.

On November 16, in a YouTube video, Clarida announced that he would aim for the Mr. Olympia title.
