There is a fair reason why Lou Ferrigno played the character of the Incredible Hulk. Towering at a height of almost 6’5, the former bodybuilder possesses unmatched strength. While his shenanigans grew popular with the 1977 docudrama hit Pumping Iron, Lou and his talents had more to contribute. Armed with a prolific acting career and fitness clothing brand, Lou also entertains fans with fun anecdotes from his life. In an old YouTube video, the bodybuilder narrated an incident where a fellow beach-goer got three parking tickets because of him.

While he didn’t mean to put someone else in trouble, Lou did pull a Hulk-like stint in real life!

Lou Ferrigno was Hulk after all!

In Hulk movies, when Dr. Banner would get extremely upset, he would turn into the big green giant. Well, this incident is quite similar! Lou Ferrigno, who played the role of Hulk in the series The Incredible Hulk, thought of visiting the beach to get a sun tan. Cruising in his Volkswagen, the bodybuilder began looking for an appropriate parking spot, but to no avail.

Finally, when the bodybuilder did find a spot, he had to do something that would eventually end up in something unexpected. As he shimmied his Volkswagen into the empty spot, he had to lift and shift another car with his bare hands! And in doing so, the star unintentionally moved the car into the middle of the street!

As one might expect, this did not sit well with the car owner, who began yelling at Ferrigno. Unfortunately, at that moment, a police car entered the scene and saw the man shouting. Although the champion was responsible for the event, the car owner bore the brunt due to his temper.

Well, not only did the police catch the “poor guy”, they ended up giving him three tickets! A ticket for double parking, a ticket for disturbing the peace with his yelling, and a third ticket for assaulting a police officer. While in hindsight, the bodybuilder felt bad for him as it wasn’t his fault, but it was different back then. Lou recalled“the officer looked at me, and I just took off because he would never expect me to lift the car”. It looks like Lou pulled a Dr. Banner in real life!
