Is Phil Heath inspired by Jay Cutler’s desire to see him compete?

Phil Heath is a seven-time Mr. Olympia winner, tied with the legendary bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, unlike the “greatest”, Heath has not retired from professional bodybuilding and could also aim for his eighth title.

Notably, the 42-year-old bodybuilder has not competed in any bodybuilding competition since 2020. But now it seems like the bodybuilder is tired of staying off the stage and tweeted about a possible comeback. He said, “I was focusing on life and business, but now that those parts are sorted, I’m ready to fully train my a** off!!!”

Not only is the bodybuilding community eagerly waiting for Heath’s long-awaited return, but so must be the legendary bodybuilder Jay Cutler. In one of his recent interviews, Cutler had expressed his wish to witness the legendary Heath on the bodybuilding stage again. He had said, “I want to push Phil to come back and compete in 2023. I still think he could do some damage.”

It is not uncommon for athletes or bodybuilders to suffer from various injuries. However, bodybuilder Phil Heath has been suffering from various health issues since a very young age.

Even after all these struggles, from 2011 to 2017, Heath went on to win seven consecutive Mr. Olympia titles. However, his winning streak ended in 2018 when he underwent a much-needed surgery. Although “The Gift” did return in 2020, he was placed third in the competition.
