The post by the 75-year-old icon surfaced hours ago that expressed his elation over Bona’s success with fitness. Even though the latter’s a long way from absolute robustness, he’s eventually getting there. The athlete took cognizance of his progress from 600 lbs to 524 lbs within three months and wrote, “People told me to offer you some encouragement, but you don’t need any.”

Continuing his appreciation, The Austrian Oak added, “You’ve got this, so I’m really just sharing your tweet to inspire everyone else. I’m proud of you.” The original post by the fitness enthusiast iterated that he was humbled by the immense support when he shared his first progress update. Encouraged, he decided to portray real-time glimpses that might help bolster his supporters’ perspectives. A prior picture displayed him donning a green shirt, relaxing on the sofa surrounded by cats, seemingly his state before taking up fitness. A second picture illustrated him in a slightly better form, donning a black T-shirt, giving workout vibes.

In a previous post on Twitter, the seven-time Mr. Olympia was moved by the passion of Richie McPeak, an amputee who battled Sarcoma cancer for years. The latter seized the opportunity to share a timeline of his health struggles since 2014. However, he emphasized that regardless of all, he seeks fitness as a potential way out of his physical hurdles. Stumbling upon his story, Schwarzenegger wrote, “You just can’t stop inspiring me.”

As per the source, McPeak underwent several surgeries nine years ago. His knee, fibula, and tibia were “cut out and replaced” with titanium rods, and an artificial steel knee was installed. Besides that, he was exposed to 400 hours of chemotherapy, a mandate for cancer patients. In 2020, his right leg was amputated and a piece of his lung was removed the following year. Now in 2023, McPeak is back in his battle with tumors. Yet, all of this didn’t allow his fervor to be dimmed. “You always have more left in the tank,” he concluded.
