Chris Bumstead is considered the strongest contender in the upcoming Mr. Olympia Classic Physique category. However, some bodybuilders are confident that they are on par with the reigning champion this year. One such bodybuilder is Breon Ansley. In an interview with the Generation Iron Fitness & Bodybuilding Network, Ansley went on to say that he will give a tough time to Bumstead on stage.
Breon Ansley makes a statement
Ansley is all jacked up and ready to face his competitors in the upcoming bodybuilding tournament. The 2x Classic Physique champion openly challenged the one who dethroned him three years ago.
He started by acknowledging Chris Bumstead as a champion. Later, he added that he should be given the same scores as Bumstead. Ansley said, “I respect Chris. He is a great champion. Chris knows that you know, we probably should be tied up 3-3. But hey, nevertheless, he is a great champion.”
Furthermore, he confidently added that he’ll make it difficult for the judges to rule out in favor of Chris Bumstead. “Chris is a great classic champion and he knows I will be on his a** and I’m gonna make it very hard for the judges to give to him again on Saturday.”
Fans are enraged by the statement
Ansley calmly walked off after making the statement. The statement, however, didn’t sit well with Bumstead’s supporters. The fans called out the bodybuilder for his words and said that he needs to humble down a bit. One user commented, “Breon has to be humble. He could be not be at this point lmao.” Another one added, “kick rocks boy!! you’re done! it’s over!!”

Quoting Ansley’s words, one enraged fan commented, “‘We probably should be tied up 3-3 hahaha’ Yeah, sounded like a joke to me too. There’s no way anyone is taking away CBUM’s title, not this year and especially not Breon. Breon made sure of that when he disrespected Chris by hanging his shirt on him. I don’t like to see anyone lose but this guy Breon? He earned it.”
However, even amid the heated situation, some came out in support of the bodybuilder. “Dam what happened to boosie,” one fan wrote. Commenting on the bodybuilder’s face, another fan wrote, “Got that sunk in dry face he might look really good this year.”
