“I Inject Myself in the B***”: Sylvester Stallone, Who Felt Weak Next to Arnold Schwarzenegger, Opened Up on His Health Regimen in 1992

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are not just Hollywood’s biggest action stars but also old-time rivals and now good friends. Since their debut, the two have worked hard to secure their place amongst Hollywood’s elite. Back in 1992, when Sly sat for an interview with Longevity Magazine, the latter had a lot to say.

Arnold’s friend made a key revelation

As Sly sat down for the talk, the question for him was direct: “Who has better biceps – Sylvester Stallone or Arnold Schwarzenegger?” There was no dodging the question this time. He replied, “pretty close.” Explaining his perspective, he said, “His (Schwarzenegger’s) is more powerful, but my body’s more agile.” Stallone went ahead to explain his health regime and informed that he relied heavily on nutritional supplements.

Talking about his supplements, he added, “I take about 65.” He also informed me that he gets his supplements from Germany, New Zealand, and Romania because they were unavailable in other places. Sly said that he took an anti-aging drug to retain his youthfulness.

Speaking about it, he informed, “I inject myself in the b*** three days a week for three weeks twice a year.” Besides relying on supplements, the Rocky star also emphasized his diet. He took special care of his diet and revealed that his breakfast included three egg whites and half a yolk. Like his friend Arnold, Sly, too, is careful about his health.

Arnold and Sylvester were not just passionate about their on-screen roles but also their off-screen rivalry. Two of Hollywood’s biggest names continued their intense rivalry for twenty years.
