Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of the most influential and inspiring figures in the bodybuilding world. Despite having stepped down from the professional bodybuilding stage decades ago, Arnie continues to contribute to the said sport, whether it is by organizing contests or sharing his words of wisdom. Schwarzenegger communicates with his fans through email-based newsletters to share with them what he reads or what inspires him. Through these letters, he strives to motivate them along the way.
In his recent newsletter, which he shared on his Instagram too, Schwarzenegger talked about “limits.” The 75-year-old strongly disagrees with the idea of limiting oneself. Citing an example of his experiences, Schwarzenegger enlightened his readers on how one can push the boundaries of their limits if one puts their mind to it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger gives an important life lesson:
On 31st January 2023, legendary bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger took to his Instagram to share one of his newsletters. The theme of this edition was “limits.” In the post, Schwarzenegger gave a deep analysis of what he thinks about the idea of defining one’s limit. Sharing his beliefs, Schwarzenegger wrote, “I absolutely disagree with the idea that you can ever find your limits. You can find your current limit, but you will never find your actual limit.”

Furthermore, once again, he turned one of his gym experiences into a valuable life lesson. Schwarzenegger explained that for a beginner at the gym, lifting a bar might be the limit at first. However, after practice, one might be able to add two plates to it, thereby pushing their limits. Using his own story as an example, Schwarzenegger added, “I failed to bench press 500 pounds many times, but that didn’t mean my limit was 495. And I proved that when I finally benched 500 pounds.”

Going down the philosophical lane, Schwarzenegger shared that one should live with curiosity to find out what one’s body and mind can do, and live with the knowledge that one will never really have the final answer. It is to be noted that this isn’t the first time Schwarzenegger has used his newsletter to educate his fans about the body and healthy living.

Earlier this month, Schwarzenegger educated his readers on what is defined as the “new smoking.” the Australian Oak revealed that researchers have found laziness to be as injurious to health as smoking. Hence, they have coined the term “New Smoking.”

Schwarzenegger alerted that lack of physical exercise might lead to a rapid increase in the biological age. This entails that a person’s body will feel and behave older than the actual age of the individual. It also means that such a person is more likely to develop an age-related disease. This alarming information was enough to make one want to hit the gym.
