It is not uncommon to see bodybuilding celebrities swerve to make a career on social media. Making this move can help a bodybuilder stay close to his fans while preserving their popularity. Another added benefit is the nifty income they often get. Bodybuilders like Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, and Bradley Martyn can be recalled in this context.

But while fitness content saturates the social media market, influencers often try extreme things to garner attention. It is because a higher engagement guarantees good revenue. But, things can sometimes go wrong. Just the way it did with a bodybuilding persona, Bradley Martyn.
Bradley has been playing his social game with entertaining fans for quite a while now. He has a colossal follower base of 3 million on YouTube. His content generally mixes all things fitness with his enigmatic personality to entertain his fans. But, it seems his shenanigans will have a ceasefire after this recent accident.
A bodybuilder gets his face clobbered while doing a gym stunt
Martyn’s latest stunt may have started on a great foot, but it ended in a lacerated lower lip and ten stitches. The accident happened during a shoot on 24th September. The whole scene was where Bradley was on the bench, and he did a chest press with a weight plate.
Standing atop that plate was a young woman who was then to squat. It started okay, with him perfectly locking out his bench position. But bad luck strikes when the girl tried to squat. She messed up her balance and fell off the plate, destroying this bodybuilder’s face in the process.
After this fiasco was over, Bradley took to his Instagram and posted a story with the following line. He wrote, “Posting in 5 min how I destroyed my face, it’s been 12 years since I been filming stupid lifting videos. I finally got, got.” And then he posted the accident video with the caption, “How it feels when you drop your phone on your face”
