In his Instagram post, Sarcev wrote, “How dry do we need to be?” He also highlighted the possible dangers of pushing the body too far. While describing the importance of a hydrated body, he wrote, “Water=LIFE, Hydrated= HEALTH”. The legend further asked a question about the over-emphasis on dry and defined bodies. ” How far do we need to push?”, he wrote in the post.
To achieve this level of dehydration, bodybuilders like Sarcev engage in a process known as “water cutting.” The goal is to reduce the amount of water that lies beneath the skin in the body, which helps to enhance muscle definition. It creates the “dry” look that judges look for in bodybuilding competitions. This extreme level of dehydration possesses some really unhealthy effects on the body. However, this wasn’t the first time when Sarcev challenged the existing bodybuilding notions.
