“He’s Like 83 but…”: Not Ben Affleck or Christian Bale, ‘Hulk’ Fame Lou Ferrigno Once Picked His Favorite Version of Batman

Lou Ferrigno is a multi-talented personality who ventured into many verticals like bodybuilding and acting. The 70-year-old, is considered one of the greatest bodybuilders, alongside the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Ronnie Coleman. Further, his title role in The Incredible Hulk received many plaudits.

The American legend is a huge fan of Batman. He once revealed why he was fond of this character.

Lou Ferrigno once went all out in praise of Adam West

Adam West played the character of batman in the 1960s Batman television series. He became a household name after playing a stellar role in the series. Ferrigno once revealed, how Adam West made him fond of batman’s character.

Talking about this, Ferrigno said, “I like the Batman series. I love Adam West. I didn’t like all those silly things where they have pow cow pow or the punching, I didn’t like that but Adam West is still the original batman.”

Further, he went on to add, “They make other batman but for some reason you look at Adam West, he’s batman, his voice and um even till today he’s like 83, but there’s a persona about him and when you see him you say this is batman because uh he made batman.”

Ferrigno on maintaining his fitness

Earlier this year, the 70-year-old shared some insights on how to maintain fitness levels. He took to Facebook, where he opened up about his fitness secrets. Talking about this, he said, “There are three great secrets: eat good, sleep good, and train good. And remember one thing: health is your greatest wealth. Don’t forget that.”

Ferrigno is quite active on social media and regularly shares updates on his workouts and fitness regimes. Recently, he shared a picture of his toned physique on his official Instagram handle. Additionally, he revealed how he was proud to maintain his physique and staying dedicated even at the age of 70.
