Bodybuilding is the go-to activity for transforming one’s physique. While this is not an easy task, if one works out with dedication and consistency, gains are a sure thing. This is what happened with Aurora Cristiano, a bodybuilder and now, a mother as well. Cristiano transformed her entire physique and became extremely fit after signing up for a bodybuilding competition.

It all began when Cristiano could not reconcile her body image after she got pregnant. However, she decided to take things into her own hands and started to work out to get in better shape. She didn’t have intentions to compete professionally in the beginning, but that is where she ended up.

Recently, the mom posted a reel on her Instagram account, wishing her son a happy birthday. The reel contained a collection of photos and videos with an adorable caption. The caption read, “Happy Birthday to my son! We’ve both changed a lot over the past 4 years. He’s gotten bigger and I’ve gotten smaller 😭. #toddler #momlife #happy” It was her son’s 4th birthday, and she reminisced on how they both had changed over the past 4 years.

And, that they definitely had. While her son had grown up to become a joyful toddler, his mom worked out and trained hard to get a muscular physique impressive enough for her to be able to compete professionally. Aurora Cristiano, like any other mother, felt a major change in her body image after she gave birth. She thought she was in ‘survival mode’, and ignored it for a while. However, when she’d finally had enough, she decided to do something about it.

Cristiano struggled with bulimia in her 20s. Therefore, she swore to lose weight in a healthy manner, that would not adversely affect her body. She did the hard work and lost about 35 lbs within 9 months, and this was before she even decided to compete professionally.

Initially, Cristiano would diet the entire day, and then binge-eat at night. She realized this was unsustainable, and simply started lifting five days a week without any dieting. She soon saw the changes in her body. She started using mobile applications to keep a count of her macronutrients. She also started portion control. Instead of three meals a day, she started having six smaller meals.

While she did not resort to a low-carb diet, she limited her carb intake to 20-30 grams per day. The mom has also taken to TikTok and her Instagram to share weight loss tips with her followers. Her transformation is insane, but also an inspiration, that changing yourself takes consistency and effort.
