Post his 6th Olympia win; there were talks in the town that Ronnie Coleman would no longer win the show. Various magazines and critics reported that his winning streak is going to end soon, for Gunter Schlierkamp is ready to dethrone him. Three weeks after the Mr. Olympia competition in 2002, Schlierkamp made Ronnie taste defeat. At a pro show in New Orleans, Schlierkamp took home the title, defeating Coleman.
