CutlerCast is a podcast hosted by four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler and his manager Matt on his YouTube channel. Recently, IFBB Pro, Serbian, Milos Sarcev was invited as a guest for an episode of the podcast. Cutler, Sarcev, and Matt discussed in detail the bodybuilding world, usage of PEDs, the recent Arnold Classic, etc.
Amidst these topics, a discussion rose about who are the retired bodybuilders who can still be competitive if they bring their prime physiques against modern bodybuilders. Matt claimed that Ronnie Coleman can still win against modern-day bodybuilders. While there were multiple names that came up, Sarcev believes it’s Lee Haney for him who could actually pose a threat to current-day mass monsters.

A very crucial skill that is required in bodybuilding is the art of posing. A less muscular bodybuilder who presents himself properly can easily dominate the whole lineup. The best example of this is Franco Columbu. Speaking on the same lines, Sarcev admitted that one athlete who he believes stands a chance against modern bodybuilders is Lee Haney. He continued by explaining that according to him, “He created that delusion.”
Upon further questioning, Sarcev said that Haney knew how to spread his back and pose in such a way that he created an illusion to look bigger. “It’s not height and weight and numbers, it’s the illusion that you create. Lee Haney created an illusion, I mean he was absolute monster,” said Sarcev.
Despite weighing in at 245 lbs, he could be a major competitor against modern-day bodybuilders who generally weighs more than 270 lbs.
“It’s amazing when you actually look at Lee Haney,” proclaimed Sarcev. Ahead of the return of Masters Olympia after a decade or so, there are multiple names at the moment that are rumored to step on the stage after a long hiatus from the sport. Sarcev recently cleared doubts regarding his participation in the Masters Olympia.
Will Milos Sarcev participate in the Master’s Olympia?
Sarcev was interviewed a while ago by Muscular Development. During that interview, Sarcev revealed that he has no intentions to participate in the Masters Olympia as the risk-to-reward ratio is too high. “They asked me if you would compete. Hell no! Why would I push myself to those limits, I know what it took to get there right.”

Continuing further, he said, “Bodybuilders are dying because we use steroids and you know it’s dangerous, but now you want to encourage old men at the age of 50 plus to pushing like back when they were younger because there’s no way no how that anybody that decides to go now on the Masters can cut their cycle in half because now they are wiser”.

Sarcev pointed out a very good point there actually. The usage of steroids and PEDs is harmful to one’s health. Especially at the age of 50s, it can prove to be an extremely terrible mistake. Sarcev has been open about his past anabolic usage and suggests the youth stay away from it due to the related side effects.
