Coming from a family of political realities, Maria, from a young age, had cultivated a no-nonsense attitude. Between 1987 to 1990, Shriver co-anchored the famous Sunday edition of the NBC news program. As a journalist, there were times when she had to take things in charge. As the show host enquired Maria whether or not she is “hard-headed,” she had an interesting answer.
Arnold’s wife talked about an unknown side
Refuting claims of being hard-headed, Maraia picks up the word “stubborn” for herself. Explaining nature, she revealed that if she has the conviction that she is heading in the right direction, she will stick to it. During such a time, she said, “I can get quite hard-headed.” But it’s nothing like her husband, Arnold.
As Arsenio enquired whether or not Arnold is “hard-headed?” Maria chipped in quickly as she replied, “Oh, He is very hard-headed.” Elaborating further, she revealed, “He is very stubborn, but it’s very different.” Citing examples and trying to explain herself better, the journalist impersonated The Austrian Oak and revealed how he would generally make himself clear in case he wanted something.
Continuing further, she revealed that even though she wanted the same thing, she would make herself known with a softer demeanor. Unlike Arnold, she would be the one using words like “please.” She reiterated the same by saying, “slightly different ballgame.” Thus, even though the former husband–wife shared a common trait, their way of speaking and presenting had a humongous difference.
