“He Got So Fat”: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Ex Wife and Son Were Stunned After Miniature Pet Turned Into a 100lb Giant

We often consider pets to be man’s best friend, as they provide companionship, love, and joy to their owners. However, not all pet owners have positive experiences with their pets. Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s family is one such example of someone who had the polar opposite experience with pets. Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwarzenegger recently revealed how it surprised them that their miniature pet pig, which they had been keeping as a household pet, suddenly grew into a 100-pound giant and created a mess all over their house.

The ex-wife and the son of the former Governor of California grabbed the limelight as they opened up about the hilarious story of buying a pet. 

A cute pig eventually started creating trouble

Shriver recently spoke out about her experience with a pet pig that she had purchased, believing it would remain a cute, little, gentle creature. The breeder assured her that the pig named “Bacon” would never grow very big“. However, things took an unexpected turn when Bacon started to grow at an alarming rate. “When I got him they assured me that he would stay a mini pig but then it grew to the size of a couch,” Shriver said in an interview with The Squeeze.

The family soon realized that their “miniature” pet pig was not so miniature, after all. He had grown into a massive 100-pound pig, much to their surprise and shock. “He got so fat, like the size of a couch”, Pattrick said. To make matters worse, Bacon had also started to create a mess all over their house, leaving dirt and pig droppings wherever he went.

“Whenever it would rain, he would go out into the lawn  and his stomach would drag in the grass and then he would come in and then his stomach would drag over the carpet with all the mud on his belly.” Maria and Patrick had no choice but to relocate their beloved pet to a place where he could roam freely and enjoy a more suitable living environment. They also conveyed that the family still has his photo frame on their wall. Despite the unexpected turn of events, Bacon wasn’t the last pet the family adopted.

Arnold has a well-known affection for animals. The Austrian Oak has recently adopted a few of his children’s pets as well. Recently, the former Mr. Olympia uploaded a video of his pets. The action star from Hollywood uploaded the video and revealed the two newest additions to his expanding pet family to his audience. Schwarzenegger’s family’s love for animals is evident in their dedication to their pets and their advocacy for animal welfare.

From dogs to pigs to horses, the family has embraced all types of animals and has shown that animals can be important members of a family.
