Canadian bodybuilders Chris Bumstead and Iain Valliere have become well-known names in the bodybuilding world. While Bumstead is a three-time Mr. Olympia Classic Physique champion, Valliere is the former’s ex-coach. The two are also brother-in-laws, as Valliere is married to Bumstead’s sister Melissa.

Bumstead is also a YouTube creator, where he often does fun Q&A videos with his family. In one of the videos, Valliere pointed out that Bumstead could play a famous superhero’s role in the Marvel movies.

Chris Bumstead can be Captain America?

A year ago, Bumstead posted a fun family Q&A video on his YouTube channel. The video featured his fiance Courtney King, brother-in-law Iain Valliere and sister Melissa Bumstead.

One of the fans asked them – Which Marvel characters would the four of them be? To this question, Valliere responded, “Chris obviously has to be like Captain America for sure.”

Bumstead and Chris Evans [actor who plays the role of Captain America] also share the same first name. But, according to Valliere, the superhero’s personality matches that of ‘CBum.’

On the other hand, Bumstead said that Valliere would be a perfect fit to play the role of The Hulk. The four of them often do such fun family vlogs and Q&A videos on Bumstead’s channel. Besides these, CBum also shares bodybuilding tips, workout routines, diet plans, and other health-related stuff on his channel.

Bumstead and Valliere’s achievements

Before winning the title for three consecutive years, Bumstead was placed second twice in the Mr. Olympia Classic Physique event. He finally claimed the title in 2019, defending it in 2020 and 2021. His fellow Canadian bodybuilder Valliere appeared for his first and only Olympia in 2018. Valliere’s New York Pro win is one of his highest achievements in bodybuilding.

Recently, ahead of the 2022 Mr. Olympia Championships, Bumstead left Valliere as his coach. However, due to their vast online followers and social media content, the two bodybuilders are well-known in the community.
