Good advice can greatly impact the lives of people who are at a nascent stage in their careers. It can help kick-start the careers of young athletes as well. Joseph Baena had a similar experience after heeding the advice of his father.

The advice of Arnold Schwarzenegger to his youngest son

Joseph Baena spoke about his first training experience with Schwarzenegger in a recent interview. Although it was during the early phase of his bodybuilding career, he clearly remembers the advice that he received from his dad that day.

Back then, Joseph wanted to steer his career towards a successful start of his own accord. He did not want his achievement to be eclipsed by his father’s towering list of accolades. And he did not want to live off his father’s legacy for the rest of his career, either.

However, he recollects one time when he visited the Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California, made famous by his father, to train with the former Mr. Olympia.

During this time, Schwarzenegger imparted some wisdom to his youngest son, which he follows to this day without fail.
