The results of Mr. Olympia 2022 are already out. A lot of new winners have emerged on the biggest stage of bodybuilding. As we all know, coaches play a huge role in transforming these champions and are their backbone. Interestingly, Hadi Choopan and Derek Lunsford, who came first and second, respectively, in Mr. Olympia 2022, were training under coach, Hany Rambod.

Unexpected results at the 2022 Mr. Olympia
It’s tough out there for any bodybuilder to survive in the contemporary world. Hany Rambod has taken aback the whole bodybuilding world by bringing the complete Mr. Olympia package in his name.

Not one, but three titles, two of which are first and one of which is second. Chris Bumstead got his fourth Classic Physique title, and Hadi Choopan got his debut Mr. Olympia title this year. Derek Lunsford came in second, just after Choopan. Rambod posted on his Instagram, “Could not have asked for a better outcome!”
It is a proud moment for the Iranian people as both Choopan and Rambod, both originally from Iran, proved themselves on the biggest stage of bodybuilding. This has also left a lot of bodybuilding fans in shock that Big Ramy isn’t the reigning champion anymore after dominating the sport for the last two years. Meanwhile, Chris Bumstead was also able to clinch his fourth title after dominating the Classic physique division in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Bumstead has also promised his fans that he will return stronger in the next Mr. Olympia. Hadi Choopan also gave a similar kind of statement.
The coaching career of Hany Rambod
Hany Rambod is also known as “The Pro Creator.” No wonder he trained a lot of bodybuilders that won Mr. Olympia with ease. When Rambod was a teenager, he did compete in some bodybuilding competitions, which later piqued his interest in the sport.

Olympia champions that won under the watchful eye and coaching of Rambod include Phil Heath (7 titles), Jay Cutler (2 titles), Derek Lunsford (1 title), Jeremy Buendia (4 titles), Kevin English (2 titles), Nicole Wilkins (2 titles), Jenny Lynn (2 titles), Hadi Choopan (1 title), Chris Bumstead (1 title).
