Action movies are an excellent package of entertainment. However, when directors, actors and technicians get immense credit for the creation, there are a few unsung heroes that remain unappreciated. The stunt doubles. One such stunt double opened up during an interview with i news and revealed the gruesome experience he had while filming Terminator 2.

The Canadian stuntman, Peter Kent, shared a great bond with Arnold Schwarzenegger for decades. But that wasn’t enough for an enjoyable experience. Kent faced tons of difficulties during the shoots, and he called himself “lucky” to be healthy currently. What happened during the shooting that made his life “hell”? Let’s find out.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s stuntman recalled his gruesome experience

The life of a stuntman is not easy. The things they do for the sake of making the scenes mind-boggling are dangerous and have serious repurcussions. Kent, who had never worked as a stuntman before, got into the movie with a lie. Despite all that, Kent wanted to give his all to the movie, and he did the same. However, he ended up with several injuries on his body, and many other problems during those six months.

While talking with news, Kent revealed he had a “ball-breaking” experience. Whether it be the iconic truck flipping scene or the scene where Robert Patrick bashes him. They were all painful. However, Kent also disclosed another incident, where he had to wear a latex mould of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s face, and that made his life difficult. He said, “It was hell, because your skin would break out. The make-up department didn’t care and Jim didn’t care. My skin suffered for it and I’m lucky I don’t have skin cancer to this day.”

The daily grinding like this made the life of Kent terrible. Moreover, he also revealed the differences with the Oscar-winning director. According to Kent, Cameron wasn’t a “good communicator”. Rather, “he has this vision, and in some way he thinks that people are going to get that vision by osmosis from him,” Kent said.
