Mr. Olympia 2022 gave fans a new champion and shuffled up the entire lineup in terms of placings. New talents like Andrew Jacked and Samson Dauda made their mark, knocking out veterans like Iain Valliere from the top 10. Bodybuilders like Nick Walker and former 212 bodybuilder Derek Lunsford also made massive leaps to finish in the top three. However, bodybuilding fans are not waiting with bated breath for the upcoming Arnold Classic 2023 and are looking at expert predictions. Recently, renowned coach Milos Sarcev named three bodybuilders he believes might win the Arnold Classic title this year.
Sarcev made his prediction when he appeared on the IFBB AMA podcast. The legendary coach also explained why he thinks the three bodybuilders have the best chance of winning the prestigious show.

During the podcast, Sarcev told the host, “I see top three for sure… Samson (Dauda), Nick (Walker), and Andrew (Jacked).” Earlier in the podcast, Sarcev had included Shaun Clarida among his top picks for the Arnold Classic 2023. However, he later narrowed it down to three. The legendary coach also explained why he made such a prediction.
Sarcev believes Samson Dauda and Andrew Jacked have all the qualities to dominate bodybuilding. “Samson and Andrew, beautiful shape, future of bodybuilding, nothing missing,” said the 1989 Mr. Universe winner. “Andrew has a little bit wider structure. Samson is a little bit thicker… especially legs… so this is going to be very close between them,” added Sarcev.
However, the former bodybuilder also praised Nick Walker. “He can win Mr. Olympia, on a wow factor, or just pure muscularity… conditioning.” However, the judging at the Arnold Classic differs from Mr. Olympia. Sarcev hopes the judges prioritize “shape”, “aesthetics”, and “balance” over muscle mass at the Arnold Classic.
Why Shaun Clarida didn’t make his top three
Milos Sarcev believes Shaun Clarida might step on the stage in “his all-time best” shape. However, despite winning the 212 Mr. Olympia in 2022, he believes, The Giant Killer will fall short of the ultimate prize. According to Sarcev, the two-time 212 Mr. Olympia winner won’t be able to match the muscle mass of the Men’s Open bodybuilders like Walker, Dauda, or Jacked.

“He wants to kill all these Giants, and he has the tools to kill them, but just he’s 176 pounds,” Sarcev told the host.
