Bodybuilding is an evaluation of both mental and physical strength. Although it may seem bodybuilding is mostly about physicality, the mental strength required to handle the stress, maintain consistency, and stay perseverant is equally important for a bodybuilder. Henceforth, it becomes necessary to train the mind as strong as the body. In the Instagram story, Bumstead is seen moving his body to extreme temperatures.

First, he exposes his body to a very high temperature of about 70°-100°C, as he performs sauna therapy. Further, CBum moves out of the room and sits in a cold water tub. This consecutive activity gives him a sudden change in the exterior environment, leading his heart rate to drop “from 150 bpm to 49 bpm in 1.5 minutes.” But what would he achieve by doing so?

While talking in the podcast, Bumstead disclosed his one retirement goal. He said, “I hope I trust myself enough to know that it’s time to check out because my one goal I have with retirement is retiring on top. That’s really all I care about. I don’t really care about how many I get.”
