However, recently, the bodybuilder shared his plans of coming back on the stage and left the 7x Sandow trophy winner, Phil Heath, to ponder over his comeback.
In January 2023, Phil Heath appeared in an episode of Cutler Cast and profoundly talked about various facets of the fitness industry. While chatting about the bodybuilding world, Heath asked Cutler about his conditions to make a comeback in the bodybuilding universe. On this, the 4x Mr. Olympia revealed a hefty requisite to get back on the stage.

In the podcast episode, Heath asked Cutler, “like how much would it cost for you to do one more?”. On this, the 49-year-old quipped, “I think a million bucks”. To this, he further added, “I would come back and compete right now for a million”.
Interestingly, Cutler also talked about the disciplined training regimen that he follows to stay fit and healthy while he is nearing 50. “Cuz I’m doing my fit for fifty. I mean I turn 50 in August so”, asserted the 49-year-old. Nonetheless, when asked about his physical dimensions for his eligibility in the classic physique category, Cutler joked that he might be heavy for the competition, because “my waist is wider than my shoulders”.
Though his plans for returning to the stage are uncertain, the 49-year-old left no stone unturned in maintaining the stringent physique that still makes him one of the best in the business.

Revealing his workout drill, the champion once revealed, “Rack Pulls and deadlifts, To get that really dense, thick slack of muscles across your back rack pulls and deadlifts are awesome – you can get really strong on these and overload the back muscles. Using a combination of both is a great idea because each exercise provides a slightly different stimulus”.

He then shared his valuable counsel on coupling deadlifts with bent-over rows for achieving thickness. “Bent over rows are the king of adding thickness to the back, I am a huge fan of this exercise”, added Cutler. While it is not certain if the legend would return to the bodybuilding arena after a decade of retirement, his expert opinion about training prompts proved to be a hefty contribution to the fitness industry.
