Dwayne Johnson, popularly known by his ring name The Rock, is a famous actor and former wrestler who has always professed the values of hard work and dedication. The bodybuilding icon Mike O’Hearn seems to agree with this premise.

The 50-year-old bodybuilder is still working hard, instead of spending the rest of his life in the comforts he rightfully earned during his prime. Mike O’Hearn is presently in Charlotte, North Carolina filming for Blue Ridge. He recently posted a video on Instagram, where he was talking about the philosophies of The Rock, and how he has been influenced by the same.

Dwayne Johnson appreciated Mike O’Hearn’s hard work

O’Hearn posted the video on Instagram with the caption, “As the @therock always says “keep on the grind ” we are in Charlotte North Carolina filming “ Blue Ridge” with @johnschaech & @maxmartinila and also I got news today that MrBiggs hits @fox television on April 17th Keep living the dream ! Let’s keep grinding Thanks @monamuresan for keeping me on point #TitanCrew”.

The bodybuilder also tagged Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the caption. The former WWF wrestler and actor replied in the comments saying, “Fortune favors the grinders. Mona has more energy than you (and that’s saying A LOT;) U guys keep grinding. Quiet work we do when no one is watching 💪🏾”. Mike O’Hearn was clearly impressed by the way Dwayne Johnson has carried himself and created an unimpeachable career through his hard work and dedication.

He compared his own grind with that of the famous actor, and said, “So there you go. Here is my, I guess you call “The Rock moment” of me not stopping and continue forward. Getting the workouts in, filming during the day, getting up tomorrow morning, going again, no stopping. Enjoy this. Enjoy this great night everybody.”

The bodybuilder adopts the Rock’s philosophy

Former American Gladiator Mike ‘Titan’ O’Hearn was present in North Carolina with one of his crew members, Mona Muresan. They had just come from shooting for Blue Ridge and seemed to have just finished their workout. Mike O’Hearn described his day, saying, “All right, these are those moments you know, where you see The Rock talking about, he doesn’t have that time off, doesn’t quit, keeps going. And today is one of those days.”

O’Hearn then added, “It is production. We’ve been filming here in Charlotte, North Carolina. But it is after hours, we’re done filming. And we had to get the workout in, regardless, because we’re on set again for the next two weeks here and we gotta make sure that we are on point.” Mona, his crew member also added, “I always say you have to stay grinding. Grind grind grind.” Mike O’Hearn’s hard work and sincerity, even at this age, are priceless and inspiring.
