His character ‘The Mountain’ played an inspiring role for the makers to consider Hafthor’s valuable collaboration.
On 13 January, Hafthor Bjornsson surprised the gaming community by joining hands with Sabre Games. This is the first time the strongman has actively participated in the gaming community. Hafthor’s collaboration with the gaming company is not the only exciting news. They have also used his reel character ‘The Mountain’ as a gaming character. Now gamers can experience battling the world’s strongest man in a gaming zone, and control Hafthor’s animated version, and play against it in Legends at War (LAW).

According to popular belief, Hafthor’s character was converted into gaming, considering his legendary presence in weightlifting and impeccable combating skills as seen in his boxing matches. Previously, Hafthor was just a part of the gaming platform for his animated version, and was involved in its progression. However, the strongman will be participating in the upcoming “Conquer the Mountain” tournament this month.
The makers of the game stated, that they have filled in the gap for the gaming community by building Legends at War. LAW enables the players to adjust the difficulty level depending on the player’s skills. Previously, the game was available to a small audience. However, this month more than 100,000 players have experienced the luxury of playing against Thor.

Hafthor Bjornsson’s goal to beat the world record
After a long wait, former strongman Hafthor Bjornosson has shocked his fans again by revealing the news of his comeback in 2024. He has decided to put aside his boxing past, and re-enter the world that he has previously dominated for nine years.
In his YouTube video recently, the strongman announced, “I am coming back”. Moreover, he also revealed that his goal is to beat Dan Bell‘s all-time world record raw (w/wraps) total of 1,182.5 kilograms (2,607 pounds) from 2021 in WRPF’s Hybrid Showdown III.
