Flex Wheeler is one of the best bodybuilders to compete in bodybuilding. Even the legend Arnold Schwarzenegger claimed Wheeler to be the best. The Sultan of Symmetry has gone through ridiculous pain and body issues throughout his life. Who else will know how to fight the pain better than him? But recently, when Wheeler saw an Instagram video of a teacher and a student suffering during the martial arts class, he couldn’t stop but share his feelings through his Instagram story with his fans.

The Sultan of Symmetry reacted to an Instagram video, which showed a martial art teacher giving a valuable life and martial art lesson to his student. Flex Wheeler, who himself practiced martial arts before entering bodybuilding, knows the struggle the kid was going through. In the video, the student was struggling and crying as his left hand strikes hurt him.

But the teacher backed him, and the teacher uplifted his spirit. What happened is the teacher didn’t stop him from crying. Moreover, he promoted that crying is completely normal, and even he cries many times.

The video and the words from the teacher won Wheeler’s heart, and he shared it on his Instagram story. While sharing the story, he wrote, “I love this video”.

The unending pain and struggle of Flex Wheeler

Flex Wheeler has achieved an abundance of success. He has even got the best bodybuilding pro debut record registered in the Guinness Book of World records. But his recurring kidney diseases and the 1994 accident made his journey more difficult. The 1994 accident almost resulted in paralysis, although he just got saved and was able to continue his career.

On the other hand, he has been continuously suffering from kidney disease since his teenage. In the late 90s, he was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease called FGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis). The kidney disease led him to a kidney transplant in 2003 and eventually led to his leg amputation in 2019. Nonetheless, he still stands strong and is one of the most loved bodybuilders in the sport.
