The world of bodybuilding has been set on fire as three former bodybuilders got into a serious verbal clash. After Dave Palumbo and Nick Trigili made a few comments about Bob Cicherillo, Cicherillo has now come up with a strong reply to both of them. On his YouTube channel, Voice of Bodybuilding, Cicherillo opened up about his take and stood up for himself.

In the video, he opened up with a few introductory words about Palumbo. Further, he showed the clip of Dave Palumbo speaking about Cicherillo, so that he could answer Palumbo’s opinion, by pointing out every false or irrelevant statement made by Dave. Here’s what he said.

Former bodybuilders turned against each other

The dispute between Dave Palumbo and Bob Cicherillo dates long back before this controversy. Even before this, in 2019, Palumbo made controversial comments about Cicherillo and later found out it was a misunderstanding. Cicherillo recalled the controversy in the video and explained that Dave was faking it back then as well.

In the YouTube video, Cicherillo presented Dave’s clip where he’s seen talking about Bob. Dave accuses Bob as he tries to speak for massive organizations such as IFBB and other pro circuits. Moreover, Palumbo asks Bob to use his opinions as personal remarks. However, according to Cicherillo, the issue erupted because Palumbo made all these statements without any proof and spoke of everything from what he made out of Bob’s statement. 

After hearing the clip, Bob pointed out how unclear Palumbo’s statements were. He said, “As you can see. Bob comes off as; he really should retire; people assume and all these little things that Dave’s saying in that clip.”

While Bob spoke about the misinterpretations in Palumbo’s clip, he specifically cleared that Palumbo was making a fuss out of nothing. As a reply to Palumbo’s statement, that Bob comes out as if he is speaking for organizations, Bob added, “I don’t need you to interpret for me, there’s actually words coming out of my mouth. The idea now is for you and your co-host to comprehend the words coming out of my mouth. Did the word retire ever come out of my mouth? Ever?”

Bob Cicherillo’s open challenge to prove him wrong

In the clip Bob presented in his video, Dave Palumbo accused him of advising bodybuilders to retire. But did that ever happen? It is difficult to say, but Bob came out confidently as he spoke about this matter. He openly challenged anybody to present him with his clip of advising retirement to any bodybuilder. Bob said, “Produce the clip of me telling Ramy he needs to retire or anybody who’s told him to retire.”

He continued, “Produce the clip of me saying the word retire. I open challenge anybody to do this, why do I harp on this? Because I don’t need you putting words in my mouth. You’re just lying. Nick, we have already discovered, uncovered this and the truth. The CNN of bodybuilding. Fake news Nick. That’s your nickname.”

Bob Cicherillo came out to defend something which he never said, according to him. Moreover, he openly challenged that if anybody could present him with the clip, he would shut his channel right then. Now, it is up to Nick and Dave if they can produce, a clip that shows Cicherillo speaking about the retirement of Big Ramy or any bodybuilder, as Bob told.
