Brandon Curry is here, and this year he is going to take his title back at all costs. For the last two years, Curry has missed out on the Mr. Olympia title with a minute gap. Ending up as the runner-up isn’t something Curry is planning on doing for the third time in a row. His intentions are pretty clear from his most recent photo update.

Looking at Curry’s jacked physique, fans couldn’t help but compare him to the bodybuilding legend, Jay Cutler. Cutler’s perseverance against all odds in the bodybuilding world is the stuff of legends. So what was in Curry’s post that reminded netizens of Cutler?

Fans react to Curry’s photo update

In the simple photo, Curry wore a sleeveless tank top with a pair of shorts and a cap. Though not much of his body was revealed, the massive arms on display were enough to give people a sneak peek of what to expect.

Not long after the post was made, fans filled the comments section with their reactions. One fan wrote, “Oh no 🙈 look’s like we got a problem Houston 🦾💯 looking good champ.” Appreciating the bodybuilder’s physique, another fan commented, “Looking jacked !!”

Among the various fans was Canadian football player, Chad Owens. He commented, “Wow!!! Let’s get it Champ!! 🏆🤙🏽” Looking at Curry’s photo, a fan couldn’t help but remember Jay Cutler. The excited fan wrote, “I’m expecting a Jay Cutler 2009 version from Brandon this year.”

What winning Mr. Olympia 2022 means for Brandon Curry

Earlier this year, Curry won the Arnold Classic 2022. If Curry manages to win the contest this year, he will not only win the title back but also become the third person to win two of the biggest bodybuilding contests in the same year. Although he won the two events in 2019 too, no one has been able to achieve the feat twice in two different years.
