Rope climbing requires balance and strength. Hauling your body weight up and down a rope while maintaining momentum between each haul isn’t easy. Hall took up the challenge like a champ and got to work. To begin, Sherrif taught Hall the correct leg position to hold himself up while climbing. Starting step-by-step, the strongman soon got the hang of it.
Soon, Hall was ready to go. While he had little confidence, he wanted to attempt climbing up, nevertheless. With Sherrif’s help, he made his first attempt to hold on to the rope. That was successful! With the correct posture and some assistance, Hall hung on. However, the happiness didn’t last for long.
Heavy body weight combined with the toughness of the rope got a bit too much for the Strongman. He gave up after a few attempts to haul himself up the rope. However, he wasn’t disappointed. Instead, he challenged other rope climbers to do as many climbs up and down as possible.
