Dorian Yates Who? Says Big-J

Dorian Yates, nicknamed “The Shadow”, is a retired professional bodybuilder who has been the idol for many aspiring athletes. The Englishman has also been Big-J’s favorite. But that was until he met the ‘alien’ Coleman, who changed his opinion about bodybuilding goals.

“Ronnie was alien compared to Dorian,” says Big-J. “I always idolized Dorian, you know? Until I met Ronnie. I was like Holy sh##, Dorian who?” he exclaims. Only a handful of athletes have surpassed The Shadow. In the end, Coleman was one of them. “Dorian, don’t get mad!” adds the fitness enthusiast.

Ronnie and Dorian first met in Helsinki for the 1992 Mr.Olympia. Yates later went on record to state that he believed Coleman had “great structure and great potential.”
