“Don’t Think Katherine Liked Me Showing Up”: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Daughter Detailed Their Relationship Growing Up With Small Age Gap In An Interview With Mother Maria Shriver Once

The infamous sisters were once interviewed about their relationship on the occasion of National Sister Day. Arnold Schwarzenegger has two daughters and they were delighted to share their childhood memories. Their father was one of the most reputed bodybuilders and actors of all time. And, since their mother was one of the famous journalists, they grew up together having a lot of fun. They also shared moments when they had to go through tough times together.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a retired IFBB professional bodybuilder. He is originally from Thal, Austria. Although he had a majestic bodybuilding career with seven Mr. Olympias, it was hard for him to get acquainted with American soil. Still, he managed to get through all the difficulties and have a successful Hollywood career. He served as the 38th Governor of California between 2003, and 2011.

The intertwined fate of daughters of Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s daughters, Katherine Schwarzenegger, and Christina Schwarzenegger, don’t have a huge age gap between them. They grew up together with their mother, Maria Shriver. While Katherine was a shy person, Christina was quite energetic.

“Well, I definitely don’t think Katherine liked me showing up to her friend’s parties in high school,” Christina said and continued, “Most of the time she would tell us to leave, and we of course stayed which always brought on a little drama.”  Christina explained the hilarious acts she used to do with her elder sister, Katherine. 

“We’re a little over nineteen months apart, and as kids my mom loved dressing us up the same, had us enrolled in similar activities and we went to the same school,” Christina explained, how her mother wanted both of the sisters to look alike. It’s common for a mother to see all her children together. But once the kids grow up, they want to be different from each other.

“We reached a point early on where we felt like okay this is enough and I wanted to do my own thing,” Christina said. The time came when he wanted to be a different human being, which is common at a point when people grow older and have responsibilities. 

Still together after all the time

Currently, both sisters have very different lifestyles. Katherine Schwarzenegger is an author, whereas Christina Schwarzenegger is an actor.

“People would often compare us to each other—which I strongly recommend against! —which would made me feel even more compelled to set myself apart,” Christina mentioned. The thing that she hates the most is people comparing her with her sister or vice versa.

She seems totally against it. They don’t want to be compared because they have different goals, and are different individuals.
