“Focus on yourself, that’s going to be very crucial but in that same breath you have to make sure that you love yourself through and through before you start a sport” As per her recent YouTube video, Cydney told aspiring female bodybuilders to begin their fitness journey with an act of self-love. According to her, self-love makes a person confident and prepares them to be able to take the judgment passed in competitions.
Furthermore, Cydney states that if someone is judging them, one must make sure that they “don’t lose that self-esteem”. With self-love, aspiring bodybuilders can ensure a positive experience without getting affected by criticism. However, one must also have the mentality to take feedback and grow by working on it.

Gillon also emphasized that irrespective of the situation, one will have to work on themselves. Moreover, while they are working to become better, they must give their 150% in that process. She urges them to take it slow and trust the process. While building a bodybuilding physique is no cakewalk, it is important that enthusiasts remain honest and identify the areas where they have not worked much.
Here is what Gillon asked not to do. Gillon stated bodybuilders must refrain from comparing themselves to others, especially on Instagram. As most of the pictures can be easily photoshopped, there is no use for that comparison. What matters the most is when one is on the stage. Her clear message to aspiring female bodybuilders was to keep working on themselves and learn to take honest criticism and honestly work on it.
