Winning the NPC championships in 2009 at the peak of his career, Seth Feroce was unable to maintain his physique after retirement. Though Feroce shared various motivating videos such as the 800-calorie shake to develop muscles, Feroce was, in reality, going through a difficult time. In a recent video shared on December 31, 2022, Feroce made a heartfelt confession about his physique. He also made a public declaration, promising his fans something big. 

Feroce gave a public declaration on his Youtube channel, Seth Feroce. Promoting his supplements company Axe and Sledge, Feroce encouraged his fans to participate in the 2023 HMWF transformation challenge. The champion also recalled his bodybuilding days and revealed his mental health struggles.

“This is the worst shape I’ve been in the past three and a half, four years”, Feroce admitted. Trying to pose in the video, it could be seen that Feroce was out of shape. Referring to this terrible physique, Feroce stated,  “I’m disgusted with how I look.” 

Later, Feroce expressed, “I’m making this video because I’m gonna get in the best shape I’ve been in over a decade.  He also told that he would be sharing weekly videos in his Youtube video description. With his gym being rebuilt, fans can now expect to see more workout videos from the gym.

Reflecting on his mental health situation over the past year, Feroce said, “In 2022, there are so many moments that I felt like I was a dead man walking.”  Talking about how bodybuilding made him feel empowered, he asked fans to watch his future videos. Feroce has planned an exciting year, focusing on his goal to get back to his ideal form. On a similar note, an instance when bodybuilding helped someone turn their life around for good is the American actor and comedian Jonah Hill.

Known for movies like Moneyball, Academy Award nominee Jonah Hill was a victim of body-shaming. “I spent most of my adult life listening to people say I am fat, gross and unattractive”, Hill remarked.

After this, Hill started running initially as a form of exercise and made healthier life choices. Along with improving his diet, Hill also did more than 50 pushups a day. This helped him to achieve good fitness and health.
