“Didn’t Let it Stop You”: Fans Hailed 6’8 Ft Strongman Giant Upon Surviving Near Leg Amputation

Brian Shaw, the 6’8 ft strongman giant, has once again proven his resilience and dedication to his craft. Back in January, the strongman shocked his fans when he informed them that he is facing a serious health challenge just 12 weeks away from the competition. The 41-year-old was diagnosed with a severe leg infection that has put his participation in the competition in doubt. However, things could get worse, as there was a possibility that he may have to undergo amputation to save his life. But his dedication and commitment finally paid off as he finally recovered from the infection. 

Shaw recently released posted a video on Instagram describing the tough phase he had to go through. Since The World’s Strongest Man is around the corner, the latest developments have brought the 6’8ft strongman into the limelight. 

Brian Shaw explained his condition

The news of Shaw’s condition was shared by the man himself on his Instagram account. In a post, he was explained that he had been hospitalized for a severe infection in his leg. The giant also added that he was facing the possibility of amputation if the infection could not be controlled. 

He wrote, “This is a tough video for me to share but it’s a look into what I have had to overcome on the road to WSM. If it can help someone out there that is enough for me and will make it all worth it.”

The 41-year-old was determined to come out stronger on the other side and just a few weeks after his treatment, Brian was back to training, and he amazed his fans with his strength and perseverance. The strongman giant had once again overcome a significant obstacle and proved that he was a force to be reckoned with.

Brian’s comeback to training did not go unnoticed by his fans, who hailed him as a hero and a true inspiration. Many took to social media to express their admiration and support for the strongman, with some even calling him a real-life superhero. “Been there mate!!
