IFBB pro Phil Heath is currently one Mr. Olympia title shy of being a part of the most elite group of bodybuilders, Lee Haney and Ronnie Coleman. However, his path to glory was not a bed of roses. At the 2010 Arnold Classic stage, the athlete fell short of winning the title as Kai Greene outperformed him and was crowned as the winning physique. A recent post by 8kmuscle in collaboration with Heath, created a controversy in the comments section. A few users criticized the bodybuilder while reflecting back on his decade-old Arnold Classic performance.
Interestingly, the scrutiny caught the champion’s attention and he decided to clap back at them with bold and forthright revelations. Upon his reaction, the fans had no choice but to apologize to him for their ignorant remarks. What was the exchange like? Check out here.

A video of the 43-year-old icon surfaced on the platform, portraying him flexing his impressive physique, pumping up every inch of his bouldering muscles. His beast-like look appealed to most of the fans. However, it was the insights of a meager few who took a different route.
“bcz he argued with Arnold, Arnold simply asked the judges not to give the title to those with a big belly(Phill)” a user’s comment read.
Another user stated, “Shawn Rhoden was clearly the winner and earned that win.”
Amid the critical insights, Heath took to the section and replied to two of the comments.

“Made-up lies as you have zero proof of this. I lost to Kai and it was a close match. He won and I never lost to Kai ever again,” he wrote in one of his replies.
He further clarified that the post featured his physique from the 2010 Arnold Classic. “You do realize this is the 2010 Arnold Classic, right?” he added in another comment.
Taken aback by his response, two of the users promptly apologized to the star athlete for the impolite remarks. One user wrote, “that’s my bad I did not. I thought the comment was aimed towards the Olympia. You are obviously one of the greatest bodybuilders ever, did not mean any disrespect”
While another implied, “@philheath sorry I thought it was the time you lost to Shawn Rhoden.”
Surprisingly after Greene won his title, he subsequently shared an enthusiastic update on Twitter in 2019, referring to his rivalry with Heath as a love story.
