Ronnie Coleman, a great bodybuilder, has been a blessing to bodybuilding since he joined. Ronnie won Mr. Olympia eight times in a row as he established his absolute domination in the sport. Even the painful 13 surgeries with the difficulties couldn’t stop him.

However, from time to time, he has managed to recover from them. In addition, after suffering significant hip and spine injuries, he was seen doing workouts. In light of this, once a Mr.Olympia 2008’s champion advised him to let it go and focus on his health.

2008’s champ advising Ronnie Coleman

Once during an interview with Director Vlad Yudin, Dexter Jackson revealed the techniques for staying fit. He talked about doing things differently. “I’m gonna do something different, and I’m gonna change it up. I want to last long these guys, and that’s why I start making different adjustments, training differently, training with machines.”

While pointing out Ronnie’s health, he stated, “And Ronnie- Ronnie said the same thing you know what I’m saying but these guys get out there they go to banging all this heavy weigh they don’t know how to switch to being you know doing machine work. It’s a mental thing, I think. I mean, look at Ronnie to this day. I love the guy to death. He’s still trying to work out, and he’s in the wheelchair, and I’m like Ronnie. Come on, man, it’s time to let it go.”

At last, he added, “It hurts me to see him go from where he was to where he is now.” Including Dex, many other bodybuilders have stated how it hurts them to see Ronnie in a wheelchair. If Coleman needs to travel a considerable distance, he uses a wheelchair. This situation happened because he was determined to be the finest bodybuilder at whatever cost. But that’s a thing of the past now. With hard work and dedication, Ronnie did the unthinkable. Ronnie can walk now without the help of any support.

Once Coleman and Dexter were spotted on the stage alongside Jay Cutler, the competition drew a large audience. Jay had a different approach to workouts; he likes to do compound exercises and free weights. In addition, he doesn’t like resting during sets. Meanwhile, his mega diet plan can be called ‘Mass Monster.’ On the other hand, Ronnie majorly focuses on leg curls and stiff-legged deadlifts. While Dex does more machinery exercises and stays away from doing excessive reps.
