Kai Greene, the bodybuilding legend, who is said to be one of the best bodybuilders, once shared his opinion on eating beef and how he had issues digesting large amounts of it. 

Kai Greene is a name that needs no introduction when it comes to bodybuilding. He stood second in the 2012, 2013, and 2014 editions of the coveted Mr. Olympia competition, although he never won the competition. He is said to be one of the best bodybuilders to have never won the Mr. Olympia title.

Kai Greene stops eating steak!

Greene opened up in an interview about consuming beef. He shared his love for beef when he said, “I love steak.” He stopped consuming it since he started experiencing trouble digesting it in big amounts. Greene added, “But after a while, I had trouble digesting it in big amounts. I went back to eggs and chicken plus steak, but found I didn’t grow or get stronger like I had on steak alone.”

He shared how despite loving steak, he had to go back to other alternatives for keeping good health. However, later on, he signed up with MuscleMeds, which makes a beef protein supplement.

Greene got excited seeing this and said, No way – a beef protein isolate supplement?’ Give me that!” Thanks to this supplement, he was excited to actually have beef again in some way.

Greene becomes an actor

Along with bodybuilding, Greene is also an actor. He was seen in the film ‘College Debts’. In 2018, he also featured in the martial arts film ‘Crazy Fist’. Fans have also seen him in the popular Netflix series Stranger Things’. He also appeared in an Indian film called ‘Pogaru’.
