Hafthor Bjornsson, the Icelandic strongman, shocked his fans as he got himself injured while doing a colossal bench press of 556 pounds. He ripped off his left pec muscles while pulling off the unimaginable feat at his gym. And fans weren’t expecting ‘The Mountain’ to get back to workout anytime soon, as he confirmed a possible surgery on his YouTube video.
Bjornsson, however, astonished his fans as he shared a recent clip of him working out along with 53-year-old bodybuilding maestro Mike O’Hearn. Originally shared by O’Hearn, the clip was shared by Bjornsson on his Instagram story.

No one can stop a gym rat from working out, not even a painful injury. Bjornsson’s recent video brought some respite to his fans as they could see him getting his workout done on a rooftop gym. Mike O Hearn was busy finishing his set of seated calf rises as Hafthor looks on. He later mounts the gym equipment to get his share of the workout done.
The video is shot by Mike’O Hearn’s wife where their 4-year-old son could be seen flipping the pages of a book as he tries to decipher the content. Both the legends are been filmed by the videographers while working out. Hafthor shared O Hearn’s story on his Instagram story giving a glimpse of his determination to his ardent fans.

His fans were worried about his injury as they witnessed the pec-tear in the video that captured the snap during Bjornsson’s workout. His latest Instagram pictures had moved his fans as they could see how bad the hemorrhage from the injury is. But seeing him again at a gym with the shredded veteran, Mike O’ Hearn would raise the mood of his followers. This isn’t the first interaction between O’Hearn and Bjornsson.

The bodybuilding legend Mike O’ Hearn once praised Bjornsson for covering a range of motion while performing his lifts. Speaking about Bjornsson’s bodybuilding principles Mike o’ Hearn commented, “Your guys’ range of motion is better than a lot of bodybuilders. And that’s what I don’t think they realize. I was watching you do incline press and there is an extension that you do. There is nothing missed. You go from the bottom to the very top, and it’s the full range of motion.”

But it was unfortunate that Bjornsson suffered a major injury while working out. He is preparing himself for surgery and the fans’ prayers are always with him.
