Arnold Schwarzenegger accomplished impressive records in almost every field that he ventured into. He was successful as a bodybuilder, actor, model, and politician. Although he had a valuable professional career, he faced a few challenges in his personal life.

Arnold Schwarzenegger married the American journalist, Maria Shriver, in 1986. The two were married for over 25 years and decided to part ways in 2011 after details of Arnold’s extramarital affair came to light. Despite her publicized divorce from the Hollywood star, Shriver once shared her thoughts about finding love again.
Shriver reveals her thoughts on finding love
In a 2013 interview, AARP questioned Shriver about whether she was looking for love again. Maria retorted that she was grateful for the love she had for her ex-husband and her parents, kids, and friends.

She said, “I’ve been blessed by my parents’ love, by the love I had with Arnold”. The 67-year-old former news anchor said that society is concerned about her not having a boyfriend or a husband. Shriver noted that people frequently ignore the love that is present in them. She asserted that she is always surrounded by love and is grateful for that.
Maria also said that she is truly focused on giving unconditional love to all her kids. She said that her youngest son, Christopher, is still in high school, and she balances her work in such a way that she is able to provide him with time and attention.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver met in 1977 at the Robert F. Kennedy tennis tournament. The couple dated for more than nine years and married in 1986. Their marriage lasted for 25 years, and they had four children: Katherine, Christina, Patrick, and Christopher.

In 2011, Schwarzenegger revealed the identity of his son, Joseph Baena, with his longtime housekeeper, Mildred Baena. That is when Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria parted ways, and finalized their divorce in 2021.
