Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler are in Las Vegas for Mr. Olympia 2022. While they are not there as participants, the two veterans have decided that now is the time to bury the hatchet. The two bodybuilding legends who once went head-to-head at the Olympia are now having fun together at the same event. And to show that the two are having a fun time, Jay Cutler shared a story on his Instagram with Ronnie Coleman and Jesse James West.

The story was originally posted by digital creator Joey Finnerty and was later reposted by Cutler from his account.

Jay Cutler shares a story with the King

The once-upon-a-time rivals Cutler and Coleman seem to be having fun at Mr. Olympia 2022. Cutler shared a story featuring his old rival, and the two looked far from having another banter. On the contrary, they are having the time of their lives at the event.

In the video posted on the story on Instagram, the three men were wearing matching outfits. Black and red sleeveless shirt paired with a white headband and a pair of shorts. Additionally, Coleman can be seen happily working out on the lat pull-down machine.

Furthermore, Ronnie can be heard saying, “Yay, I love it… I’m warming up.” It is to be noted that the multiple surgeries Coleman went through in the past few years have rendered him unable to walk without any support. But being in a gym again and using the gymming equipment is bound to bring joy to the King.

The Coleman-Cutler rivalry

The rivalry between Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler went down in the history book of the sport. It was the most talked about thing when the two legends competed against each other. It can be traced back to 2001 when the feud began.

While Cutler failed in defeating the King in 2001, he did manage to give a tough fight. It wasn’t until five years later, in 2006, that Cutler finally succeeded in dethroning the eight times Mr. Olympia, Ronnie Coleman. The following year, in 2007, Coleman announced his retirement from pro-bodybuilding. It marked the end of their rivalry.
