Real reason why Chris Bumstead failed to win Mr.Olympia in 2018

Bodybuilding is one such sport that comes with many risks. However, if one is passionate enough, then no danger can stop them from reaching their goal. Legendary bodybuilder Chris Bumstead is following the same pathway.

The bodybuilding enthusiast was only 19 when he entered the competitive world. Furthermore, his first Mr. Olympia was in the year 2017 where he secured the second position. However, little did he know that the next year won’t go easy on him.

Unfortunately, Chris was not in his best form in the 2018 Mr. Olympia; his physique didn’t appear sharp enough to leave fans in shock. The reason behind this was not transparent until he posted a YouTube video where he explained the entire story.

I lost a bunch of weight from the diet,” said the champ. “All of a sudden, I woke up, and I was five pounds heavier. I had a bunch of water in my shins again and I was about to see the doctor. I woke up the next day and just put up 15 pounds. The next day, my ankles were swollen.
