Retired bodybuilder Jay Cutler recently shared a priceless picture of himself with another bodybuilding legend, Ronnie Coleman, on his social media. Jay and Ronnie’s rivalry goes back to the time when the latter was dethroned after winning the Mr. Olympia title for eight consecutive years.

Jay Cutler, a four-time Mr. Olympia champion, has immense respect for Coleman and his resilience. Coleman, 58, has had 13 surgeries due to multiple injuries but is doing sufficiently fine.

Jay Cutler shares the stage with Coleman again

Jay and Ronnie are perhaps the most well-known rivals in the sport’s history. Having shared the stage on numerous occasions, the two return once more for an absolute treat to bodybuilding fans.

Cutler in a latest Instagram post, writes“A decade of battles and we are still here.” Reminding everyone that true greatness is inextinguishable. Jay Cutler was perhaps the only one who was in genuine competition against The King. Cutler first became known in 2001, as he lost to Coleman. The rivalry grew stronger when he finally snatched the title away from him in 2006.

Having retired in 2007, Coleman put an end to the rivalry. The two have immense respect for each other, and both have gone on record calling the other a true competition on numerous occasions.

Ronnie Coleman’s comeback

Ronnie was the person who changed the way contemporary bodybuilding was perceived. It was a piece of sad news when his fans got to know about his dismal condition.

After a painful surgery, the athlete had once stated“So I don’t know if I am gonna able to walk, but I’m gonna give my best shot with the best surgeon who performed these surgeries.”

Coleman underwent back treatment for the tenth time in 2018. Doctors directed his operation toward fixing four broken bones, but it turned out more painful than expected. It elated his fans to see him walk again and honor the stage with his presence.

Cutler has been actively expanding his company of protein supplements for bodybuilding since he retired in 2013. Coleman, on the other hand, is taking it easy because of the several operations he had to endure.
