Similarly, a boy named Miles Taylor is an inspiration to all. He has broken down many barriers despite being born with Cerebral Palsy. Significantly, Arnold Schwarzenegger gave him a special mention in his latest newsletter, appreciating the boy’s feat of strength.

Arnold Schwarzenegger shares a motivating story

Cerebral Palsy is a group of disorders that affect a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture. It affects a person’s ability to control his or her muscles. The symptoms of the condition range from various persons, and some people need walking equipment to move around. But, Taylor has a different approach to this condition. “I have CP. CP doesn’t have me,” mentioned Taylor.

Arnold, a motivational speaker himself, explained how it was refreshing to see him follow his dreams of becoming a strongman. In his latest newsletter, he explained the story of this young boy who inspired him and proved fitness is for everyone.

“A person I want you all to check out is my friend Miles Taylor. Miles is 25 years old and has Cerebral Palsy. But this doesn’t stop Miles, he continues to break down barriers. He has deadlifted more than twice his body weight, lifted atlas stones, and is currently even learning the log press. He is one of my heroes,” mentioned Arnold. 

Taylor’s impressive feat

Taylor often posts videos of him deadlifting weight more than his body. In one post, he expressed his joy after successfully lifting 200lb at 99lb. The owner of NEVERsate Gym, Bryan Alsruhe, shared his experience of Miles coming to the gym and not giving up on various challenges. He mentioned“Miles will fail 2,000 times, continually get up until he gets it.”

Hearing these inspirational stories gives us a fresh perspective of what people achieve in their lives. Taylor dreams about becoming a powerlifter, and he is on course to achieve the unthinkable.
