Mr. Olympia 2022 was full of surprises. While everyone’s favorite, Big Ramy, came 5th, Hadi Choopan became the new champion. Nick Walker finished in the third position in the Men’s Open division. While it was not the top-most position, he was happy to be in the top 3. He went on to Instagram to share his views on coming in third. “This Olympia was a special one for me. As bad as I want to win because I’m so competitive by nature. This was a win for me in so many ways for that I’m beyond grateful,” he shared in the caption. While Walker did not win the most prestigious title in bodybuilding, he did make some progress compared to last year.

Even though he missed the title by a small margin, he was not beaten up about his placement in the competition. Though he got bested by Hadi Choopan and Derek Lunsford this time, he was still optimistic about the situation.

Walker came in 5th in Mr. Olympia 2021 and has jumped over to 3rd place this year. Surprisingly and coincidentally, in an episode of “The Menace Podcast”, Dexter “The Blade” Jackson predicted that The Mutant would come in third this year. And that’s what exactly happened.
Even though he was not the top man this year, he only had positive things to say about his fellow competitor and winner, Hadi Choopan. He said, “HUGE congrats to @hadi_choopan for winning this years olympia, not only is he a great bodybuilder but a great person as well!!!!! Earned.”
Walker’s segue into Mr. Olympia 2022
2021 was a tremendous year for Nick Walker. He emerged victorious in the 2021 Arnold classic by defeating Iain Valliere and Steve Kuclo. He even won the New York Pro Bodybuilding Show held in 2021. Nick Walker also bagged the People’s Choice award at Mr. Olympia 2022.
