On 14th February 2023, former bodybuilder and powerlifter Dawn Whitham lost her long-term battle against cancer. The news of her demise was announced through her Facebook account. Years ago, Whitham was diagnosed with brain cancer. She had been documenting her treatment and sharing it with her fans ever since. Additionally, in a post shared in November 2022, Whitham revealed she got cancer from Melanoma (tanning). Moreover, as Whitham was an avid fan of Sylvester Stallone’s popular character Rambo, she was often seen donning a similar outfit. Gradually, she earned the nickname Rambo girl from her fans. One fan commented, “Omg. Dawn the bravest warrior I’ve ever seen. My heart is broken. Such an enormous loving soul who brought so much joy to all of us. But, the late 1970s saw Joe Weider come up with a grand plan and create the Mr. Olympia contest.

Larry Scott won the first two titles. Moreover, the bodybuilders with the highest number of titles are Lee Haney and Ronnie Coleman. In the meantime, to make their entry into the market, the famous documentary, Pumping Iron, saw the buildup to the 1975 Mr. Olympia contest.
